Our inpatient and outpatient drug rehabilitation treatment programs provide the support, encouragement, and resources needed to be effective in helping clients overcome their addiction and establish a healthier way of life.

Personalized Addiction Treatment Programs

Residential Treatment

Our drug rehab offers a unique inpatient residential treatment experience designed to serve each patient’s needs regardless of where they are in their recovery journey. The residential drug treatment program is the most intensive treatment option we offer as it requires our clients to live at our rehab facility while receiving 24-hour care and attention. Following medical detox, patients enter our residential treatment program, which offers intensive substance abuse and alcohol treatment through well-rounded, integrated care.

Listed below are some of the ways that our inpatient residential treatment program differs from our other treatment programs, such as partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and standard outpatient (OP), as well as the intensity of treatment received.

Live-in treatment at our rehab facility: The main difference between our residential treatment program and our other programs is that while undergoing inpatient residential treatment, participants reside at our rehab facility to receive around-the-clock medical supervision and care. Our residential treatment program is the highest level of care offered at our drug rehab.

Better to address severe problems: Outpatient care is a great option for strengthening your addiction recovery, but being sober before this level of care is often expected to enter the program. If your addiction is not under control, you’ll likely need to complete inpatient residential treatment first, following detox, of course.

More extensive offerings and accommodations: Our drug rehab offers the most comprehensive services and accommodations to those who live at our facility. This includes more hours of therapy and care in supervised surroundings that feel pleasant, positive, and safe.

Some of the key services of our residential program include:

  • 24-hour care
  • Personalized treatment
  • Counseling sessions
  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Medication management
  • Psychiatric assessments and drug screens
  • Wellness center activities for societal re-entry preparation
  • Art and music therapy
  • Job readiness training and interview coaching
  • Life skill training
  • Anger management and aggression control

Partial Hospitalization Program

Following our residential treatment program, clients step down to our partial hospitalization program to receive comprehensive therapeutic services in a more relaxed environment during the daytime hours. Our partial hospitalization program aims to restore our clients’ ability to be healthy in their everyday lives and take on more responsibility while still receiving medical care and therapeutic services.

Our partial hospitalization program provides the foundation needed for a successful recovery. Some of the services that are available during your time in our PHP include:

  • 6-8 hours of programming per day
  • Supervised recreation activities on nights and weekends
  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Weekly individual counseling sessions with your primary therapist
  • Medication management
  • Psychiatric assessments and drug screens
  • Wellness center activities (stress management/recreational therapy)
  • Art and music therapy
  • 12 Step meeting list and schedules (AA, NA, etc.)

Intensive Outpatient Treatment

Whether you’re looking to step down from our partial hospitalization program or add support to your existing recovery, intensive outpatient treatment is an effective and flexible way to undergo addiction treatment that requires less time per day and week attending therapy or clinical services, depending on your specific needs.

Our intensive outpatient program serves a wide range of purposes and can be a good fit for people in all stages of recovery. Whether you are transitioning from a higher level of care or are just beginning professional treatment, our IOP can be right for you.

Some of the services that are included as part of our IOP include:

  • Relapse prevention
  • Therapy sessions
  • 12-Step meeting schedules for AA, NA, etc.
  • Adjusted treatment programming to suit job schedules
  • Housing assistance
  • Random drug tests
  • Discharge and aftercare planning
  • Long-term case management after discharge

Sober Living

Sober living operates as a bridge between inpatient treatment and “real life.” At our drug rehab, our sober living homes are designed to help patients adjust back to daily life by contributing to society in the form of either employment or volunteer positions with the expectation of abiding by the house rules of maintaining a drug and alcohol-free environment.

While residing in our sober living homes, clients appreciate that they can utilize the tools they learned from attending higher levels of care while maintaining much of their regular routine and still getting the support they need.

What to Expect From Drug Rehab

Recovery Institute of Ohio offers multiple levels of care for substance abuse disorders. Each treatment program offered at our drug rehab is individually designed to produce long-term and sustainable recovery. Our multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and therapists have been working in our community for years to offer quality of care back by The Joint Commission.

Inpatient Drug Rehab Centers Vs. Outpatient Rehab

The most significant difference between inpatient and outpatient treatment for drug and alcohol abuse is intensity and environment. Our inpatient drug rehab program allows patients to remain in a supportive environment with accredited therapists and staff onsite 24 hours a day while partaking in regular medical treatment services. Our outpatient treatment program is for patients needing a transitional level of care that is more flexible and supportive of recovery while navigating through everyday life.

Frequently Asked Questions About Drug Rehab

How Long is Drug Rehab?

The length of drug rehab varies based on individual needs and the severity of the addiction. Many facilities will set a minimum of at least 30 days to ensure enough time to provide the specialized addiction treatment needed for a successful recovery. Many programs last between 6 and 12 months. While it’s most common for clients to stay in residential rehab for one month, some stay longer – up to six months.

What is Inpatient Rehab Like?

Our inpatient Drug Rehab Ohio is designed to help individuals reestablish healthier, happier, and more productive lives by teaching them to manage their diagnosis and acquire the skills they need to live free from destructive behaviors. We do this by putting a primary focus on structure, positive activities, and plenty of therapy sessions. Our inpatient addiction treatment program offers a distraction-free, focused atmosphere to work through drug abuse by cutting out any contributing factors.

How Much Does Drug Rehab Cost?

The cost of drug rehab is dependent on many factors such as the level of care, length of stay, medical needs, etc. The best way to determine the costs of attending our drug rehab is to speak to one of our addiction treatment specialists.

The Journey to Long Term Sobriety

Seeing the big picture of a sober lifestyle can be challenging at the beginning stages of a recovery journey. For many of those struggling with alcohol abuse or drug addiction, considering a life free of substances is daunting until skills are in place to understand how long-term sobriety can be applied to day-to-day life.

Addiction Relapse Prevention

While addiction affects individuals in a variety of ways – one thing is certain: the most successful recovery programs integrate relapse prevention into the treatment. For most patients working to overcome substance abuse, a singular program is not enough for sustained sobriety. Instead, patients should focus on finding programs that gradually introduce them back into day-to-day life while helping them reach their physical and mental health goals.

How to Help Someone with Drug Addiction and Depression

There is a direct link between depression and substance use. If you or a loved one struggles with mental health challenges, you may be familiar with the draw towards substances to temporarily numb negative feelings. Conversely, individuals dealing with addiction may experience depression and anxiety due to the impact drugs and alcohol have on their lives.

Sober New Year

We know the new year symbolizes a time for fresh starts, healthy habits, and new outlooks on life. But while the new year holds the promise of a bright future, the holiday season can be a challenging time for those struggling with substance abuse.
