What Different Programs Does Recovery Institute of Ohio Offer?

Outpatient Therapy: At our drug rehab facility in Ohio, we offer outpatient therapies that make it easy to recover in a comfortable environment right at home. Clients can live outside of Recovery Institute of Ohio while attending therapies once a week. We encourage clients to continue with our 12 step program while away from the facility as well as meet individually with our drug rehab therapist at our drug rehab center.

Intensive Outpatient Therapy: Intensive Outpatient Drug Therapy, also known as IOP gives clients more time in the Ohio drug rehab facility, while still accommodating for life outside of the clinic. Intensive outpatient therapy is done after completing a successful detox at the drug rehab center. Clients live outside the drug rehab facility and come in for group therapy at our center in Ohio three times a week. IOP is suggested for those that do not need to detox at our detox center under medical supervision.

Partial Hospitalization Program: At our inpatient drug rehab center in Ohio, we offer a Partial Hospitalization Program. This would consist of residential housing if needed as well as group therapy 6 days per week, excluding Sundays. In addition to group therapy, each day clients attend seven 12 step meetings per week and meet independently with one of our treatment specialists on a weekly basis.

Residential Treatment: Residential treatment at our Ohio drug rehab center consists of living at our Columbus residential facility throughout the time of therapy. Clients attend group therapies daily, Monday – Sunday, as well as individual therapies once a week. Our staff also supports clients going through the drug detox program by holding seven 12-step meetings per week for the clients of the home to attend. Staff supervises clients throughout their rehabilitation and provides a comfortable home away from home to attack the issue at the root to help ensure sobriety after their time at the drug rehabilitation center.

What Does Our Drug and Alcohol Rehab Program Entail?

Individual, Group and Family Therapy with Clinical Staff: Our Clinical staff monitors and leads the therapy sessions as they guide conversations in a meaningful manner to promote healing in both mind and spirit.

Weekly sessions with your primary therapist: Every client is given a primary therapist to meet with on a weekly basis to discuss their specific needs and recovery path.

Medication Management and Psychiatric Assessment, if indicated: Our detox center specialists work with clients to find the best medication suited for them and their particular needs. Along with that, they provide a psychiatric assessment with the purpose of making a diagnosis. If a diagnosis is made, clients will be treated accordingly. Drug and alcohol addiction and mental disorders quite often run together, so we run an assessment to ensure we have not only the proper medication, but proper treatment for each client.

Wellness Center Activities for Stress Management and Recreational Therapy: At Recovery Institute of Ohio, our clients are encouraged to participate in various activities such as arts and crafts, physical activities, group activities and more.

Art and Music Therapy: Art and music therapies at our inpatient drug rehab center have shown to help alleviate pain, manage stress, promote wellness and give clients a way to express their feelings and emotions in a positive setting.

12 Step Meeting List and Schedules: Clients will meet with our drug rehab center specialists on a daily and weekly basis to go over their recovery process and next steps.

Employment Phase (treatment schedules are adjusted for those that work): It is important to maintain a sense of normalcy for some clients to recover. Those that are able, will be offered help with job applications, resumes and coaching for job interviews.

Housing Assistance: After clients go through the program at Recovery Institute of Ohio, our staff wants them to go back into their homes feeling confident that they will continue with their recovery. We help provide housing assistance to make this possible. Our recovery center staff will also provide assistance with other life skills as part of the program to help reintegrate clients back as a functioning member of society.

Discharge and Aftercare Planning: Our drug rehab center ensures that our clients leave feeling capable, having the skills they need to succeed in day to day life after their drug detox and rehab. We give clients the proper tools they need to succeed in their sobriety.
